Who we are

Information we collect
- Order information: your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, collected through our checkout.
- Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. We do not see or store your card number or PayPal login.
- Your choices on our site: the size and color you select are sent to PayPal with your order.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
- Technical data: like every website, our hosting provider receives your IP address and browser type when you visit.
How we use it
- To process, ship and track your order.
- To answer your questions and handle returns.
- To prevent fraud, keep accounting records and meet legal obligations.
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask to receive them.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed to fulfill your order:
- PayPal: payment processing.
- Our fulfillment partner and shipping carriers: your name, shipping address and phone number, so they can pack and deliver your order. Our fulfillment partner is located outside the United States, including in China, so this information is transferred there.
- Service providers: our website host and email provider.
- Authorities: when required by law.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and third parties
Your shopping bag is saved in this browser’s local storage, including product choices, size, color, and quantity. It does not contain payment details or a shipping address. A temporary checkout copy is kept in session storage so purchased items can be removed after checkout. You can remove individual items from the bag or clear this website’s stored browser data to delete the saved bag.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address. PayPal sets its own cookies on the checkout page. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.
How long we keep it
We keep order information for as long as we need it to complete your order and handle returns, and for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (generally up to 7 years). Emails are kept for up to 2 years after our last conversation.
Security
We use trusted providers and limit access to your information to what is needed to run the store. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to tell you what we have collected, by emailing info@dogtrekly.com. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity, for example by asking for your order number. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states have these rights under their state laws. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
